7. Prices and Payments

Prices will be displayed on the website or checkout page before purchase.

The certificate confirms completion of the Just Spanish course.

It is not:

- A replacement for an external standardized Spanish examination

Just Spanish does not claim that its Certificate of Completion has the same status as an official language certification.

Refund Policy

Last updated: 20/08/2026

At Just Spanish, we want learners to feel confident when purchasing a course. This Refund Policy explains when a refund may be requested for online courses and private lessons.

1. Spanish A1 Course Purchases

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase provided that:

- You have completed less than 20% of the course;
- You have not completed or attempted the A1 Final Assessment;
- You have not downloaded, copied or otherwise substantially accessed course materials beyond what would reasonably be required to evaluate the course; and
- No private lesson included in your plan has been used.

Refund requests submitted after 7 days will normally not be eligible for a refund.

2. A1 Premium and A1 Private

A1 Premium and A1 Private include the complete self-paced course plus private Spanish lessons.

If a refund request is made within the eligible refund period before any private lesson has been used, the purchase may be refunded in accordance with this policy.

If one or more private lessons have already been completed, the value of those lessons may be deducted from any refund that is approved.

Where a substantial part of the digital course has also been completed, a refund may no longer be available.

3. Private Lessons

Private lessons must be scheduled in advance.

A learner may reschedule a lesson by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be considered used.

Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without notice may also result in the lesson being considered used.

If Just Spanish needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the learner will be offered another suitable time and will not lose the lesson.

4. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe you have:

- Been charged twice;
- Been charged an incorrect amount; or
- Experienced another payment error,

please contact Just Spanish as soon as possible.

Verified payment errors will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

5. Technical Problems

If a technical issue prevents you from accessing the course, please contact Just Spanish before requesting a refund.

Reasonable efforts will first be made to restore access or resolve the problem.

If access cannot reasonably be restored and the purchased service cannot be provided, an appropriate refund or alternative may be offered.

6. Change of Mind

The refund period is intended to provide learners with a reasonable opportunity to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

After the applicable refund period has expired, refunds will normally not be provided solely because:

- You changed your mind;
- You no longer have time to study;
- You did not complete the course;
- You decided not to continue learning Spanish; or
- You expected a different learning outcome.

7. Course Results

Individual learning results vary.

A refund is not normally available because a learner:

- Did not achieve a particular level of fluency;
- Did not obtain a particular assessment score;
- Did not study consistently; or
- Did not achieve a personal, academic or professional objective.

8. Certificate of Completion

Eligibility for a Just Spanish Certificate of Completion does not create a separate right to a refund.

The certificate confirms completion of the Just Spanish course requirements and is not an official DELE, Instituto Cervantes, university or government-issued qualification.

9. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact:

Just Spanish

Please include:

- Your full name;
- The email address used for enrollment;
- The course or plan purchased;
- The purchase date; and
- A brief explanation of the refund request.

We may request additional information where necessary to locate and verify the transaction.

10. Processing Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method where possible.

Processing times may depend on the payment provider, card issuer or bank.

Currency conversion differences or third-party banking fees may be outside the control of Just Spanish.

11. Promotional or Discounted Purchases

Courses purchased using promotional pricing, discount codes or launch offers remain subject to this Refund Policy unless different refund conditions were clearly disclosed before purchase.

12. Abuse of the Refund Policy

Just Spanish reserves the right to reject refund requests where there is reasonable evidence of abuse, including situations involving:

- Repeated purchases and refund requests;
- Account sharing;
- Unauthorized copying or distribution of course materials;
- Completion of a substantial portion of the course before requesting a refund; or
- Fraudulent payment activity.

This does not limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to remove or restrict any refund, cancellation or consumer-protection rights that must apply under the law relevant to a particular transaction.

Where mandatory law provides greater rights than this policy, those rights will continue to apply.
